I guess the quads really love the mach 1's then. I raced a stock Mach with my 96 LT1 T/A with a loudmouth 2 catback and nothing else from a roll, his manual to my auto no less, and stuck about a car and half behind him from 25 to about 65. The only reason he jumped out that car and a half is because of his down shift. I was surprised that an LT1 could hang neck and neck like that. The Mach 1 is like any mustang, it's fast on paper and in mag and even a few guys can get them where they shoud be in the et, but most don't come close. A very nice SS or WS.6 could be had for less and a C5 would be around the same price. Bad deal imho
