Your car is so nice do not sell it man, JUST LS1 SWAP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


My freind was having all kinds of problems but then swapped in a LS1 and now loves his car again!

I've only seen one in person myself. But I saw it often, used to come to a local car show/cruise night almost every saturday back in '00/'01.

I wonder how many of the original 547 built are still around and accounted for?

whats wrong with it. did you buy it new, or used......you might just have been unlucky and gotten a lemon. it happens, not always the cars fault. lots of other people here have 150k trouble free miles on their LS1s. a friend of mine bought a 2000 TA, used. looked like it was in a front end colision, with a slightly off repainted bumper. because of that, its had electrical issues since day one. something was never repaired properly. maybe something like that happened to yours? i hardly have any miles on mine, but its been 100% reliable since new.

thats a good looking car you have...check out the conversion section of this forum.
there are lots of people that have put a ls1 motor in a rx7. im considering doing that myself
