i doubt we'll see an LS7 in the camaro or any other vehicle besides the vette. As stated, its days are supposedly numbered, and does anyone here remember the time and money put into the LS7? its a 13k crate motor for a reason. Hand built and all, this would kinda put a damper on an "affordable" camaro. Which would put GM right back in the same spot it was with the 4th gens...a car that eats into the vette market.

 

I think the smog thing everyone is talking about is not with a LS7 but a SC LS7. big difference.
