Default The mod bug is starting to bite harder

Well i had the car for about a year and all i did was put on a lid and strut tower bar. In the last 4 months since I had the car ive done:

Custom ram air
Ported and Polished the throttle body and smooth bellows
Bought and Painted LS6 Intake
Stainless Headers
Y pipe, !cats
Spark plugs and wires
New tires
Weld on SFC's
Adjustable LCA's and Panhard bar.
Cleaned up the engine bay, wire mod, Painted some stuff
Took some weight out of the car.
Blue LED Guages
New Starter
Custom Catch Can
TB bypass
Window Tinting
Dyno Tuning
Poly Engine mounts
Poly Trans Mount
Poly torque arm mount
Brake rotors
Painted Calipers
And im sure other stuff im forgetting.
Its getting there

So far im resisting putting in a cam just cause i wanna wait and do it the same time as heads and i just dont have the money right now.

How long did you all go before the mod bug got you? And what all did you go out and buy/do when it did?

With my WS6 I was doing bolt-ons before the car had 300 miles on it. I did all the common stuff (lid, catback, LCAs, PHB, SFCs, STB) during the first week of ownership back in July of '00. The car had a 3500 stall by 1700 miles and a cam/valvetrain right about 5000 miles. Many other bolt-ons happened inbetween.....

My Z28 is different. It's been mostly stock for two years now. But I did put all the bolt-ons on the car within about 200 miles of ownership. But at this current point in life, I'm working on doing other things with my money besides modding.......

Tell me about it. I've had my car since Memorial Day, and have done rims/tires, full exhaust, intake, suspension, nitrous, complete msd ingnition, and a whole bunch of little stuff. Maybe I should slow down lol

sorry, I'll never say that again

I think LS1 cars come with a mod virus that infects you as soon as you turn the key for the first time. I picked my car up in North Carolina and I installed a short stick before I even left the guy's shop! All I ever do when I get online is search out more mods to do. Now that my girl and I have a Mustang too, I have ANOTHER car to mod. Now we're hoping to buy an SS camaro next spring to add to the stable.
