That guy is an idiot... he can't even spell right! How hard is it to put a >d< at the end of brand? What a moron! Not only that but he says he paid $38K for the car when he bought it, that's his fault from buying from a dealership that charges dealer mark-ups...and besides ask him to see his sales paper work from the delearship to see what he really paid for it! But he probably was an idiot just like he sounds in his ads and just paid window sticker w/o even trying to talk them down. Hell, like mentioned plenty of times already, things have to be drying out, and tires have an expiration on them too! So that '98 camaro w/ original tires that are 9 yrs old are just gonna have to be replaced...What a TOOL

"name me a muscle car you can buy new under $40000, that has 280 miles from the factory"
Ummm, a GTO! And some even have less than 280 miles....... Not to mention a 6 liter, an independent rear suspension, and a warranty. But, whatever I can't be bothered.
Or if you wanted to be brave and spend about another $1000 you could get an 07 Vette, but really who wants the vette?

The most ridiculous thing is that you have to have a massive downpayment as well, no bank is going to approve a loan for a car that blue books at.....
20k for a private party sale.
Now lets lie to the book and say it even is even a collectors edition, which it isn't.
$22,345
As far as the car's valve springs/oil seals, he probably let his 12 year old son sit in the car and rev the engine at around 5800 RPM for ~10 minutes every week.
(That is 100 more than the LS1's rev limiter hits right?)

As a community of car enthusiasts we actually like to drive and wrench on our cars, not treat them like stacks of benjis on goodyears. Real enthusiasts see the hobby getting more and more out of the hands of average joes every year. Its good that a lot of old cars are beings saved, if only as investments, but selling a common late model WS6 (with its "magical" LS6 block) for $43,000, well its too soon for that, let us have our fun first before making us feel guilty about hacking up an "investment".
I'm guessing the price is going to go up with each relisting to cover the Ebay fees...

That's why I haven't sold a single part I've taken off, to replace w/ a performance mod.

Does that include a burnt out alternator???
Ha ha ha, I make myself laugh....
...all...... day........... long....
Okay it wasn't that funny.
*note* the following is about BS Ebay pricing in general, so don't read it if you don't want to. semi-
------------------------------------------------------------
You guys want to hear BULLSHIT free market Ebay crap.
Try Star Wars Lego's. I collect the damn things and you should see what the Ebay BS puts out.
These guys sit there and post up prices for ex. $20 plus $5 shipping for a product that isn't even availible for purchase yet (even by the seller) that when it is availible you can just buy from Lego themselves for $9.95 with about 20 cents in shipping.
Or the freakin' Death Star where they sell the product for $400+ plus like $20 in shipping while you can still it from Lego for $299.95 and about $5 in shipping.
Lastly the worse two BS posts I have seen are for an expansion pack to Hero's Quests being sold for $299.99 (originally ~$10 new) because it wasn't played with.
Also Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance I being listed for $75 when you can get it for $5-$10 on any other site.
It starts to ramp up one guy see what another posts and post for around the same amount and then every *** out there starts trying to sell it for that amount.
Eventually you have a barrage of listings for products being sold for ridiculous prices, being listed over and over again by a few a-hole listers spamming the site and you never have the chance to actually buy anything.
It is like looking for parts for a Camaro and you see a listing of 5,000 parts made for a Honda Civic where they post as many car makes as they can just so their listing pops up.

what hell is going on here. guys cars are expensive, I know it sucks, I paid 38,000 for this car in 02 , thats what I want in 07, no one gives you a 280 mile ws6 , they never have and they never will, as a matter of fact you cant even buy a good car from gm anymore , the saturn sky is 33,500, the 4 door dodge charger is $39000, the srt-8 neon is 30,000$ ,the crap mustang is $36,000 ,what are you going to buy: the gto. I do not make up the prices,Trans ams are the most expensive gm cars, they always have been since 1969 , they stop making them 5 years ago after 38 years ,they stoped. unless you have a time machine to go back in time , none of you guys will ever have the chance to buy a new trans am agian , This car is outstanding. I am a super nice guy and I love cars , I have been building and racing cars since I was 14 years old, I have serval cars, most them with low miles and I also paid big money for all of them.
all I know is I cant believe the reaction this car has on people. let it go guys, life to short plus I am sick of all the email, the price is what it is,Thats it.
Thank you for all the nice comments Demetri.

Okay guys he has a point. It is fun to make fun of a car for being psycho-priced but don't threaten the guy.
It's fun to poke fun of an add but don't actually DO anything about it that makes this site look bad!
