I just replaced my passanger door (thanks to Kevin), and now I need to get rid of my old door. There is not junk yard, large dumpster or anything around, so I was wondering where can I just throw this junk away? Thanks in advance.

 

Look in your local yellow pages for someone that does hauling. We have people around here who will haul away the stuff you just can't throw away. They take care of the disposal for you for a fee. Since you're just getting rid of one item, I doubt that it would cost you much. The person could just toss it onto another load they're disposing.

 

what about a scrap metal yard. you might be able to get a little money for it.

 

I usually just sawzall it up in a few pieces, or our trash guy just takes the whole door and tosses it into his trunk. Or, drive behind one of your local stores and toss it in one of their dumpsters, Or, toss it in your back yard and use it for target practice
