My dad called me a few weeks ago. I guess one of his room mates kept going on about how Camaros never had and aluminum engine. The the alloy block was only for Corvettes. So he calls me up, I tell the guy I holding a magnet up to my block and heads, and what do ya know, it doesn't stick. Guess he shut up after that.

I just read something interesting in the manual for my Camaro. I guess someone should have informed GM, that we had 346, they seem to think that these cars came with 350's, lol.

The easiest way for me to describe my Trailblazer "It has the same motor they put in the Corvette." Saying it has a LS2 means nothing to 99% of the public.

Ok, guys i have a little story
I've been working alot of hours at work and my boss said "are you tired of working yet?"(joking) I said "hell yea". Oh i forgot to mention he knows nothing about cars but they know i work on my car and make it faster.
So he said well at least your check will be good...."maybe you can buy some high octane gas for it"
So i just laughed and then my boss said what have you done to that thing anyway? I know he doesnt know **** about cars so i just said intake and exhaust. Then another worker steps in and says "Dude, he doesnt have to do anything to his car because its a Super Sport!.....It has the corvette engine in it!!
So he looked at me and asked if he was right and i said " Yea just like the Z28, its all the same **** and theres a lot of stuff that has to be done to make it faster"
As soon as he said they corvette part i thought about this thread. Some people should just keep quite.
