I was actually on my way to buy a srt4 and stopped at a chevy dealer first. The cobalt felt more put together. I'm also going to be auto-xing the car and didn't want the turbo lag, then unpredictable wheel spin when the turbo spools up. Plus the cobalt handles a lot better stock. last but not least........ cobalt giant gay wing>srt4 giant gay wing.

Glad your happy with your purchase.
Cobalt SS/SC sounds like a real nice car.
However, I would have went with the SRT-4. I love them.
Anyways, enjoy your car... keep us posted over time.

Quafe diff.
Tokico struts (Illuma 5-way on the ACR model)
Sachs clutch
Auto-meter guages (which my friend verefied with his live-display tuning software to be DEAD ON).
ect. ect.
The SRT4 is basically an aftermarket creation put togather by SRT.

Heck, I'd do it: decent fuel economy, good looks, and good performance. I haven't driven one, but they look like fun little cars. Not to mention the hassle free living of a 10k mile 1 y/o car vs 100k mile 6 y/o. Decent feul economy, good looks, good performance. Sounds like a good pick up!

Either way, the Cobalt SS/SC is a pretty cool little car, if you're into that. Main thing is, it's a GM. Big plus in my book. Have fun, that's what it's all about.

I would of brought one and kept my SS. If I had to live with only 1 car and it was fwd I would go crazy. I'm glad you got a good trade in amount for your SS
