I love it and I could never bring my self to sell it at this point in my life and I hope nothing ever changes that.
I plan on getting another 4th gen, but it'll probably be an LT-1 and use it as a daily, but that'll probably be in a year or two.

You know, I once said I was going to keep my 89 Formula 350 Knight Rider conversion forever also. I had it for 8 years. But as things happened and life changed, I made the hard choice to sell it. When I was saying I was going to keep it, I was a bachelor and enjoying my toys. When marriage came along and then my daughter was born, I realized I needed a house for my growing family. Will there be another? Perhaps. But for somebody who SWORE up and down FOR YEARS he would never sell his car, I sure heard it from my friends when I did. But when a choice is presented if front of you, you just may sell.
As for my 2000, I have no intention on selling it anytime soon. But I won't say I'm keeping it forever. That's the jinx that made me sell the last one for debt/down payment on a house. I wouldn't think about years in the future, just what's going on now. I'm enjoying it and that's all that matters.

I've barely scratched the surface of modding and this is my first f-body. an I basically love my car.. and modding makes it just THAT much more enjoyable.
of course I'd rather have a vette.. but maybe later for that.
I've never owned a car longer than 2.5 years. (this TA is my 5th car, been a little over 1.5 years so far with it)
so I hope for the best.. 4 years+ would be quite an accomplishment. so thats my goal

I remember when they first introduced the 98-02 F-bodies. From that minute on, I wanted a Camaro SS so bad I could taste it. I had to wait 8 frigging years to get one, but damn was it worth it. It was almost brand new too (9k miles) so it was almost perfect! I found the EXACT combo I wanted - Onyx black, M6, T-Tops, SS grille, D/D exhaust. I plan on having this car for years and years, and keeping it just the way I bought it - bone stock! When the modding bug bites, I'll pick up an LT1 or a Fox for peanuts and mod the **** out of it.

forever...its the last style, its all paid for, and it has a salvage title so it wont be worth much anyway and no one will take it for a trade..but i love it...i want to keep if so when im older ill have that old muscle car that i raised hell in in my teenage years...and by then a salvage title wont mean anything anyway......
