^That guy's dyno is JUST! what it feels like is happening. I just wanna know why people say they pull harder and harder to redline. I only notice this indescrepancy when in 3rd usually b/c the other gears wind out too fast to tell like you say.
you've already answered your own question... just because they SAY it does, doesn't make it true.

plus you have to factor in alot of things, tranny type, gearing, mods, weather, DA, etc.

Dude, my car is in no way stock. I have WIX filters, 0-30 GC in the crank case, and window tint as well as Timken wheel bearings, new tranny fluid (valvoline) and 85-140 Royal Purple in the rear end. I even put new coolant in it. A/c Delco air filter too!

So even with all those mods it's still normall to feel a slight "leveling off" of power around 5600 or so?

Nosing over at high rpm.
x1
I notice when I wind out 2nd and 3rd they seem to nose over at/right before yellow-line.
x2
Is it normal to be nosing over about there?
x3
So I guess nosing over at 55-5700 is normal?
x4
It isnt a BIG nose over, just isnt pinning me back as hard is all.
x5

****, I laughed so hard. Maybe cause I'm drunk.

I have a better question....

tint doesnt make you pull harder up top

Nope... my car pulls hard all the way till redline. Doesn't let up a bit. Its like a never ending powerband.

To be honest with you, it pulls super hard till right before fuel cut. at like 6100-6200rpm.

That is odd, every dyno-chart supports my SOTP feeling that it levels off after 5700.

Yes...it was sarcasm...lol. Give me SOME! credit. Talked to my friend and he said what I am describing is normal. What I mean is it does not pull as hard from 5600-6K as it does from 5-5600. The pull kinda levels off. Does'nt press me as hard into the seat.

i was hoping that was actually a real statement about mods.

cause it would've been right up there with the do torques make sound.

well you have a lid, it should've gave you more top end. unless your plugs are fouling out at a higher RPM and youre getting weak spark. or at that RPM your running rich/lean.

No, its not that noticeable, feels like the dyno graph's say it should feel. Power isnt just ramping up anymore and feels like I reached a plateu. No, I don't have a lid. My car is 110% box stock.

Mines the same way Wonder if it's a 98 thing???

^here is another stock dyno. Maybe my ***-dyno is just better than yours. Where I feel the slight flattening/drop in the linear feel of power increase is right where it happens on every stock dyno I have seen.

just drive the car to a dynojet and see what they say.

if its normal, stick a TR224 cam in there and all will be better. or just buy a lid and get on with your life.

^All I am saying is LOOK! That is a 10whp drop roughly from 5500 to 6K. I guess I must be uber-sensetive to feel that. Seems normal to me. I think the people who don't sense it are also the same people who never use any oil and who claim their differentials are dead silent and who say F-bodies dont rattle over bumps. I for one can feel a big difference when the car has been steadily making hp up to 5500-5700 and then all of a sudden it isnt giving me anything to add to that curve and is actually LOSING (albeit 5-10whp) power.
