The cobra is definitely not as good looking as the Formy WS6, that hardtop red w/ black stripes and wheels looks NICE!! If it was a 6-speed, I'd be in heaven right now.

My friend has a '97 cobra with a supercharger on it. Its fast, but he has had to rebuild the trans and build up the rear end. I dont think cobras look as good as the WS6, but that is a clean car. I think if the previous owner took car of it, then that was a good trade, if not, that 3k is going to be gone pretty soon.

Default 97 vortech cobra

well my cuzzin bought the car from a very wealthy man.... how wealthy you ask? the cobra was his cheapest car lol, he is a persian man who owns a viper, and a z06.... i believe the car was used for autocross once in a while whenever they would open it to the public twice a year or so..... it has many suspension upgrades and the man was the fisrt owner.... the interior in this car is incredible, looks new... he had recaro seats and put the originals back on, he took the seats off the day he bought the car lol.... all in all its a good cobra.... he misses the attention he got from the formulaWS6 but it was a good buy...... 12 second car he says, anyways hes plannig on taking the advice you guys gave him... he soon will be rebuilding the bottom end with forged internals so he can up the boost! by the way, which pulley size do you guys reccomend, especially if he is going to use nitrous... he wants a 11sec car lol!

the main part of this trade that would have concerned me is that the car had been autocrossed. when cars are autocrossed, they are held at high rpms for extended periods of time. i would have been especially concerned with a boosted autocrossed car. to mimic the damage autocrossing does on a motor, just take the car out and bang gears up and down the street for 1/2 an hour. other than that, i see the trade as a purely subjective choice based on style.

i dont think the car was autocrossed more than twice a year if that, its coming from a 60 year old man. Anyways, i went to the track and i saw a car with similar mods as my cousins newly equipped cobra, accept he has aftermarket cams and he got a 12.7 but he said he was spinning threw second gear!!!! which i think is good for a for sure low 12 sec car. .....

Formy WS6 looked cooler, the old cobras look outdated, but its still a sweet *** car.
