Now that' s what I call some good looking race cars, especially the first two in the first pic!! Although, if I were driving for Crown Royal, it would have to be a PURPLE car!

Well, the last year you could purchase an IROC was 1991. They were available from 85-91, but the last ones were built in 1990.

The last year the IROC package was offered, was 1990. You couldn' t get a `91 IROC.

crown royal bought the series. all the cars, when racing, are painted different colors with the drivers names on the side. all of them have the crown royal trade marks painted all over them. those are the same cars they run now.

I thought so, with like a black triangle or something down the side with the drivers' names. Right?

This is what I was thinking of:

Man, they used some wierd colors!

Hey, we' re all here to help each other out with as much info as possible!

In fact...I just found this useful link on IROC-Z's, which gives a break down year by year on them: IROC-Z One.com.

Yea, but yet it still retains valuable info, like the link in my last reply documenting the history of the IROC-Z, showing that there was no `98 IROC.

Yea, but that' s also gotta make you wonder about the insurance company, that' s going to insure your car. If their computers are 20 out of date, will their pay outs to you reflect their pay outs from 1987 as well? You can bet your sweet *** that your insurance premium won' t reflect those of 20 years ago though!!

i mean i am proud of the fact that i drive a formula and the insurance company called it a trans am if i wanted my car to be called a trans am i would have bought one but to get back on topic i think that hell if if they can mistake a formula for an t/a im sure somebody could have mistaken z-28 for an iroc and more so buy an small insurance chain one of those small local jobbers
