I think I found the most base 98 Z made? It's not even a 1LE, but it has roll up windows, no ASR, no rear defrost, cloth seats, manual locks, NO CRUISE!, 6 speed.... I dont even know if it came with a cd player... and it's not a 1LE and its not a 1SC car either.... any clues guys? My 1LE was "loaded" compared to this.. lol.

i have an 01 stripper car, no asr, no power windows, no power mirrors, no power locks, cloth seats, 6 speed, no cruise, no fog lights, didnt even come with a boot for the blinker lever. but i like it. less **** to go wrong too i guess

There are a few of these cars around. If I could turn back time I love to have a stripped Camaro and a fully loaded Trans Am. My friend and member here Damon_Z ordered his 02 SOM Z28 like this but he opted for 3 options the rear window defogger,Monsoon and 3:23 gears

Yeah, the interior build quality in these f-bodies were definitely not great. And that's a good enough reason to factory order them stripped rather than loaded.

That was the way I planned 2 order in 02. Ended up not doing it due to insurance (I was 21). I was happy to find my current hardtop sans traction control! All I wanted was: LS1-T56-Monsoon-Rear defrost. Damon-Z did it right!!!
