That's some dumb ****. 95% of that cars description is about having an LS6 block.

$43,500? Someone must REALLY want a white TA to pay that. He added his storage frees from the past 5 years to the value of the car?

I think I've seen this listed before, must be no one was dumb enough to buy it the first time. BTW how does the storage fees factor into the value of the car?

Maybe he should try storing it for another 25 years then it might actually be worth over 40G's because it'll be a classic. Man its too bad I never realized the LS6 block was worth so much man when my friend sold his car he should have bought a brand new ls6 and dropped it in and we could have doubled maybe even tripled the price of his car lol and still had a ls1 to spare.

I wonder what he will actually sell it for or if he is just looking for some dumb person to buy it.

stand back and hold your breath because this car has 280 miles on it, all options plus it has a ls6 block only 1/4 of these cars got them , the ls6 block is super rare to have in a 02 trans am, it had revisions for bay to bay breathing, it has a 10% stronger than a regular block,it has thicker bores, it also makes 15-25 more horsepower than a standard block because of the revisions.
haha, longest run-on sentence ever. PLUS

Besides the fact the owner is a flippin retard. That has got to be the cleanest ws6 you can find. 280 miles? I'd easily pay 30k for it... if I had that kinda $$$ lieing around.

I think i'd cry if/when I got the first rock chip in that thing.

There are plenty of dumb asses in the world and when you post on the internet you sure can connect with a lot of em so he probably will get his price and I'll just wonder who would do such a thing.

I'm surprised he doesn't want 55k to factor in gas and oil...

This ain't the first time this idiot has had this for sale, but I don't remember the price last time. I still think it ludicrous that he expects the buyer to reimburse him for storing his own car!!

First he says that 1/4 of the cars got the LS6 blocks, then says they are super rare. I guess 25% is super rare?

You should see these wheels I have on my car, TTII's! NOBODY has these bitchaaaazzz.

The LS6 block deletes machined holes in the LS1 bulkhead and adds cast-in "windows" that allow better bay-to-bay breathing.

***factory ls6 block block, stop looking at all the ones with miles they will never be in the wrapper agian, does not get better than this. call 1630-310-2494 OK I am getting alot of email of how this ls6 block that is in this car is the same as all ls1 camaros and trans ams, here is the qoute from the head engineer who designed the ls1 "The LS6 and the LS1 use an all-aluminum cylinder case. It’s a "deep-skirted" design (block structure extends below the crankshaft centerline) with six-bolt main bearing caps (four vertical bolts and two horizontal bolts per cap) and head bolt threads deep in the main bearing bulkheads (for minimal block distortion and maximum head gasket clamping force). LS1/6 blocks are semi-permanent mold castings of 319-T5 aluminum. The LS6 case is different from LS1 blocks in the design and strength of the main bearing bulkheads. As the pistons move up and down, they force air in and out of the spaces (or "bays") beneath them. At high rpm, this reciprocating air flow is violent and really whips up the oil. While the LS1 block has some machined openings between bays, the LS6 block, because the engine has about 500 more usable rpm, needed larger windows at the base of each cylinder to better accommodate "bay-to-bay breathing." Click for Larger View We got the GMPT guys to cut up a LS6 block for us. To above-left of the #2 main bearing bulkhead, at the bottom of the cylinder bore, you can easily see the rectangular bay-to-bay breathing window. Photo: author Click Image For Larger View Obviously, cutting windows at the bottom of each cylinder reduces the strength of the block’s key structural area, the main bearing bulkheads. With 40 more horsepower, 400-500 more rpm and even more powerful derivations of this engine to come, the block needed to be even stronger than it would be without the windows. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure, in their ruthless pursuit of power, Dr. John and his engineers had to do more than simply reprogram their CNCs to cut those windows. Finite element design work along with a lot of thrashing engines to death (in a few cases, literally) on the dyno eventually resulted in the special LS6 block having both the bay-to-bay breathing windows and more overall strength than the LS1 block * In the February (or maybe it was March) 2003 issue of GM High Performance Pontiac (GMHPP), there was an article stating the following: Apparently there have always been two version of the LS1: One built in Montupet, and one built in Nemak, Mexico. They use two different methods in creating the block, and apparently the Nemak block is a stronger, more performance oriented block. (The material properties were about 10% higher/stronger. Nemak uses a low-pressure precision fan process, more high performance oriented.). When the Z06 Corvette came out, GM decided to use the Nemak plant to build the LS6 block, since they built stronger blocks. So Nemak built LS6's, while Montupet built LS1's. Since there were so many LS6 blocks made, several made it into F-bodies. Numbers from GM are that about 10-15% of 2001 cars had LS6 blocks, and 25% of 2002 cars did. To confirm if your 2001-2002 F-body has an LS6 block, grab a mirror and a flashlight. Open the hood and head over to the driver's side to try and see the back of the left-hand deck, above the transmission flange. A cast-in #12561168 denotes the LS6 block. And if you aren't able to see the number, you may be able to tell by the block's luster-the Montupet plant cast a shinier block, the Nemak plant made the duller block. The Z06 block (LS6 block) is not only much stronger, it also has 87% better ventilation between bays, which equates to less pumping losses at high RPM's. also a quick way to identify if you block is an ls6 ,is it is missing the bulls eye on the left block pad by the tensioner pulley see pic.***

Oh my gosh he actually sat their and typed that.

This is the second thread on that same car and the second eBay posting of it. I noticed that this is the first time he made a 2 page report on the LS6 block.

Last time he used the entire listing to say how the car sat there not being used for 5 years in a "heated garage," well dude my car is in a heated garage, does that make my Z06 have a better trade-in value? Nope still just a 2002 Z06 with about half the actually trade-in value of that car you have sitting there rotting its seals and are trying to sell it for.

It sounds like he is trying to sell the f*cking block for $43k.
