who owns the highest mileage ls1 fbody here? and what have you done so far to keep it alive? motor rebuild? new motor? and etc.

I think somebody here has a 200k+ one and it hasnt been rebuilt.

I win so far!!! Just rolled over 134K. I just upgrade before or when stuff breaks. Normal maintenance too.

73,000 here and still pulling strong a buddie of myne has a 97 c5 with 120,000 something miles and still runs good almost bone stock 6 speed runs good too but burns oil like crazy

My dad's 95 LT1 car has 146k on it, only casualty so far is a 60-e.

I've heard of some vette that had 600k on it...Is that a rumor or is there any truth behind it?

That's over 60K miles a year If it's a 97 of course

big 109k miles here and its been sitting without a tranny for bout 2 1/2 weeks so shes keeping the miles off her.

Its under the knife rght now hoping for my Texas Speed and Performance heads to ship out tommorow, i need them by wends or im Dooooomed

Other wise my car makes good compression, doesnt consume oil, and made 400 cam only in a M6.

nice, so the highest mileage fbody heard of is 200k? anybody hear of higher? and what they did to keep it going?

HotwhipT/A and Shiner - just want to say both of your cars look very clean for a car with 13x,000 miles on it.

And btw I'm at 33k miles so I've got some catching up to do. Hoping now that the weather is nice I can get the car back up and get some time behind the wheel.

i have seen them for sale with 185,000 and they run like new. i have also seen a vette with 232,000 that looked and ran like it just rolled off the showroom it was $17500 i passed though

I love hearing higher mileage cause the majority of this crowd are 30-70K, and makes me feel left out, glad to know im not alone, and what these cars are capable of.
