Default "The Z"

Ok so many people call their cars "the Z," so what do you think of when you hear this and which do you think deserves the most right to be called "the Z"?

Z28 Camaro
Z06 Corvette
Nissan 350Z

^ So you always refferred to your Z28 as just that and never a Z, or that just changed whenever you got a Vette?

I think it depends on what you own, F-bod guys will say Z28, Vettes will say ZO6, Nissan guys, 350Z.

I always hear the 350 Z/300ZX/280 Z/240 Z called the Z, but then again, I drove nothing but imports for the last 4 years.

I generally think Nissan. Not any one model in particular. They've just had so many Z cars over the decades that it's my first thought. Nobody I know really calls a Z06 a Z--they call it a Z06. And I would too if I had one. And people who call Z28s Z's..again I don't ever really hear that.

Personally never cared for the term "z", too broad unless you're talking amongst friends/family then Z it up because they know what you drive.

Nissan. I've always referred to a Z28 as just that. I call a Z06 just that as well.

"The Z" doesn't bother me. It's when people call their car a GT that gets me. You have to either be lucky enough to own a Ford GT (not Mustang) or be a ******* moron to make a post where you only reffer to your car as a GT. If there's 3 cars that can be called a Z, there's 10 that can be called a GT.

You can call your car whatever you want as long as there is enough context for people to know what you are talking about.

dude you're gonna come with a bunch of different responses, like here "z" is mostly referred to z28's, in 350z forums it's the "z". I usually think that z should go to the 350 but it's too hard to disyfer between the two.

I think z28 b/c I'm guilty of saying this. Often people refer to 350z's are just z's from time to time but thats really the only other thing that comes up much
