What should be my course of action?
Ok basically i just cammed my t/a. It is a 6speed, full boltons, full suspension. Going to take it out of storage very soon.
Tires are bald
Clutch slips at WOT when i rip gears at high rpms
Ill probably break my rearend with good tires and a good clutch
I want to add nitrous (wet shot ~100)
What do you guys recommend i do as my course of action?
I am thinking this: I will get a set of decent tires first thing. I am thinking nittos as they will give better traction than other street tires but still be decent on the roads (also more durable than other drag radials).
Then i think i will see how the clutch does on those tires, if it needs to be replaced, i will go textralia.
Then when i save some pennies ill go nos.
If at anytime my rear blows, i will go to 9inch.
Does that sound good or no?

Sounds good to me. By the way, you say IF the clutch slips with DR's... It WILL slip real bad with dr's if it is slipping now with bald street tires. I'd plan on doing the clutch asap
