The system was very heavy though. Big muffer, and lots of stainless.
...interesting!

Anyone have any pix of this thing? Just for ***** and giggles I'd like to see what it looks like.

The dual/dual system was/is a great system. Shame they stop producing it.

The dual/dual was a goofy muffler - the f-body equivalent of a fart can. Good riddance.

Are we thinking of the same Dual/Dual system? I have DD on my car and it's very nice sounding! Where the hell do you get fartcan from?

Are you sure you're referring to the right muffler/system? There is nothing "fart can" like about dual/dual. Not even sure where you would get that idea from.

My "idea" was that the DD, like the fart can, is an appearance mod posing as a performance mod - one of my pet peeves because such items lead beginners to waste money. I didn't intend to insult those who like the look and sound of the either the DD or the FC.

Dual/dual is one of the better flowing catbacks. It is in fact a "performance mod" as much as any other good flowing catback system. So in other words you don't think any catback is a performance mod??? I hope that's not the case, considering most catbacks show about a ~10hp gain without all the noise of a cutout.

Personally I don't currently own the system, but I have in the past. It's just a bit louder than stock, but offers a much lower restriction muffler and larger piping.

The dual-dual is a great cat-back and in no way is it "pretty." The dual-dual is stainless steel but not polished/high polished, it is very very dull.
Now the Loudmouth and Borla cat-backs as well as other stainless steel cat-backs are high polished.

Peace,
Craig.

Yes that is it but is all dull and road worn. What muffler do you think it is? Just out of curiousity.
