Credit Card, then sell the old parts for partial pymnt on the CC. Lifes to short to wait for the cash. As long as you can keep you finance rate at 4.99% or lower it isn't that bad. Credit is no way to buy anything but there are times when you just have to say WTF. 100k worth of credit can be danerous if you let it.

Xbox 360 and HD DVD player for NOS Kit
Doing some hooking on the side

As much as I would love to go all out on the car, I gotta stay within the borders of what income cash-wise will allow. I have a debit card instead of a credit card for this purpose. Otherwise I know within 20 minutes I'd be in a LOT of trouble, not that it wouldn't be worth it but I just hate having that kind of stress over my head.

i actully have a car/savings account at my back. When ever i come across a little extra inbetween bills, it goes it there and doesnt get touched unless it is to purcharse something for the rides. Takes a lot of stress out of spending money that most people say should go somewhere else. In my eyes, its already spent the second it is deposited into that account.

my money this year went to an engagement ring - but she agreed to help pay for car stuff in the future so it will all work out
right when i first went to college i had 2 good jobs working 60-70 hours a week and doing 12 credits a semester
got the bug to build a turbo vr6 gti (even before fast and the furious came out) - i think i dumped $25k into that car only to be harrassed by the cops once that movie did come out.
Most of that was credit and took a long time to pay off.
Now I finally have a handle on the bills, funding my IRA and 401k, looking to buy a house and get married etc.
I am splitting costs with my brothers on the Nova - spending 3,000 for a Reher Morrison 540 is a lot easier to do than 10k - and its a track car only - no more street stuff unless i buy a C5 and put a Procharger onit
Also a part time job on the weekends is paying for my go fast stuff while she is finishing nursing school
