Default Quick question about removing pollen from the top of my motor…

I have some pollen and stuff all over the top of my motor. Like all over my intake, by the fuel injectors, and some in between my intake and valve covers.

I was thinking of taking a Air Duster Can (the type you blow out keyboards, etc..) and blowing the pollen crap off my motor. Would that hurt anything? Like is it ok to do around the injectors, and all the sensors, and stuff like that?

I know this a stupid question, but I just wanted to make sure before I do it.

There is an engine detailing thread in the Appearance section. Look there or do a search, lots of info.

If the pollen is real loose, try a leaf blower.

Also a great way to dry your car, just becareful about pulling in outside ambient air.
