Damn that really sucks, sorry to hear. I guess you have to be careful with these kinds of things, at least where you can.

Maybe they will try to set the subs up in there own car and they will not completly cover the power cord and it will arch out catching there car on fire with them inside with the doors stuck shut. Karma at its finest.

this is a crappy thing. I can relate.

I had the hatch smashed in on my '84 T/A in the fall of 1991 and I'M STILL finding broken glass chards in my car.

Mind you I've vacuumed it countless times since, removed the interior 2x, the carpet, plastic panels, etc and it still shows up... I don't know where. I don't know how, but it does.

as for who took it- if it looks easy enough to take, they will. I had a stereo stolen from my car, too. It's a horrible feeling. Makes you want to get "medievel on their @$$".... what comes around goes around. They will get theirs somehow someday.

A few weeks ago someone broke into a car here in my complex (They stole some fuses!), the owner said they use spark plugs, because the porcelain dampens the sound and just causes the glass to crumble instead of shatter.

Sorry to hear, theives will break into just about anything if they think that theres something of value inside. Not sure if your car is modded or not, but it would be just as easy to pop the hood and grab what every they could. Hopefully the insurance will help you out some.
