My first car was a 86 2.8 5 speed Camaro, loved it.
2nd car 83 z28, even with the B&M Megashifter, the auto was really boring me.
As soon as I saw a ad for a 94 z28 with a 6 speed, I jumped all over it.

We have hydraulic clutches for crying out loud, no one should have issues in stop and go traffic.

I've only owned manuals so everytime I get into an auto of any sort I do that out of habbit .

I don't DD my camaro, but my DD is a 5spd. I don't mind it, most of the time I don't even have to use the clutch

seriously, you'd think people were pushing cinderblocks uphill or something when using the clutch...

To those claiming DDing a manual is hard: Do you have someone open the door for you? Does someone set your turn signal and turn the wheel for you too? Do people carry you on their backs to and from the car?

The only reason I would want an auto is for a strip only car.

My car is a DD in the summer and it's a M6. Only been to the track with it once, would never trade it for an auto.

I dd my m6 most of the year and wouldn't have it any other way. I usually get 21+mph, I've gotten 25 I think idling around everywhere.

M6 forever! Ha ha, yeah, manually shifting an A4 is JUST like an M6 ha ha ha. I had one A4 F-body, and it was my LAST. I even cut out the little 2.73 nylon block so I could get 1st, so I could be JUST like an M6. You know what? A4 is NOT like an M6.

I don't DD either of my current F-bodies, but I have DD manual in the past, and it's no problem. Even bumper to bumper traffic is ok, I just leave a little gap and coast slowly.
