After reading a thread on here about a guy smacking his noggin against his cage in an accident, then wasnt able to speak anymore, ive been scared S*^# to drive around in my brother's car (02CamaroSS). Is there safety padding or equipment that can fix this? Also, the whole body of the car feels MUCH more stiff and solid, and this was after the sub-frame connectors had been installed.

Danny, I drove to James' house last week with a helmet on

There is padding you can get, look in a summit catalog, tehy have alot of stuff. FWIW get the SFI stuff, the tech guys at the track will be impressed with you.

I put a 6 pt in my car this winter because it needed it to pass tech.. I should have went with a full 10 pt cage to be honest, but I will finish it off once it makes a single digit pass... probably the first full pass on the bottle will get me that.

A cage is dangerous on the street unless you use the proper belts with it, and who is going to want to fool with those every time you go to the mini market? JB
