yes, if its got current registration it has to be insured. every year when i go to renew my plates, i have to show proof of insurance.

I hate ohio, got a speeding ticket in Sandusky co. a few years back. What a pain in the *** that was.

Got some good news. I went to the BMV and showed them documentation, and they reinstated my license. Not i can drive. Still alot of stupid people working for the government. But everything worked out OK.

What he said. Its not hard to get collector plates. Then, you dont need to take the emissions testing in Cleveland.

I never had to show proof at the BMV, just have to sign a paper.

Yep, same here. Sign a paper, they rip off the bottom third and I'm set. But as far as the plates go, I'm going to have to call the BMV and see. I had my TA and my wife had a Contour. We got her a 02 Grand Prix GT, put my TA in storage then I started driving her old car. So technically, she has two cars in her name and only one in mine. Do you think I can say my TA is still not my "main transportation".?

sorry to hear that. I would be soo pissed and it's your word against theirs which makes it more difficult.
