Believe me, there had to be something wrong with that WS6 if I can run a better time with a @#$#ed up transmission, and with me getting half way off the gas after bouncing off the limiter a few times.
Too bad I couldn't get another run in, I was <.3 behind the Camaro in the next lane until the stupid transmission decided to sit and bang the limiter, and he ran 13.3@105.
We'll see how bad it is at the next open test & tune, but sadly by that time I'll have a little more into my pos slow '99![Thumb](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/thumb.gif)

I've seen an 01SS with lid, catback and 555Rs race a 98Z with free mods, lid, P&P TB, ls6 intake, LT headers, 3in true duel exhaust with X-pipe, gears, and tune. Guess who won..............the SS. Both were A4s. SS jumped out 3 and it stayed that way until 120. After the initial 3 the SS never pulled anymore nor did the Z ever close the gap. Both guys are really good friends and Z owner said it didn't spin at all; he just couldn't catch him. We all expected SS to jump out and get reeled in.

Okay so if my car dynoed 323hp stock its an a4 would that make it a factory freak or a strong stock a4 it also ran 13.2 at 106 in the 1/4 stock it did have 3.23 gears in know that helps with the et over 2.73's

id say you have a car with the 3.23 gear option IMHO they were the fastest ls1 f bodys.ive seen them beat the m6 cars .
you guys kill me sayin the 01-02 cars are faster the SI record is held by a 98 model car yeah the intake is better but the cam is a pos.the heads are casted a little smoother the flow is the same.
i raced a 01 ws6 with a catback and lid at the track when my 98 was bone stock.he beat me by .2 however his car was an m6 were i was a 2.73 a4.my bet is on the gears being 3.23
sounds like a strong car

All these drage times mean nothing without factoring in elevation/DA. Stock LS1s here run low 14s/high 13s if they are lucky. Other places they run low 13s high 12s. The air makes a HUGE difference, so comparing numbers isn't as simple as you would think

Yeah, I know how much the air can effect you. I ran a 13.1@106 here last fall, then I installed a Shaner ported TB and a LS6 manifold and ran a 13.0@107. I was dissappointed. Then i ran the numbers through a DA calculator because it was very hot/humid that day, and I found out if it would have been the same DA as before I would have run a 12.79 it said. So i was happy to hear that. Now I have Duals too, so I'm hoping for 12.7's next time to the track. Especially after my tune. I think it's pretty quick for being a auto with no aftermarket torque converter and the tires that came on it in '00. Don't you?

Yeah that is fast. I was still at a positive DA, but not a huge one. I am noping to get 12.7's or even better after my tune
. Then a stall/tires and I'm hoping for lower 12's. Then a cam and I may be the fastest car in my club at Purdue
(fastest now is also an LS1, 98Z, 11.8@117)

I don't there are far to many factors involved at the track. Such as weather, track prep and driver skill. There are people on this site with 423hp F-Bodies that can't get out of the 12's

I don't think there are any 1/4 mile tracks in AR?
Polk performance in benton is a great shop they just built a brand new building. they have a dyno and are very good with cars.
there is also a dyno in fort smith, don't know the name of the shop but a bunch of vw guys i know go there.
and there is a track in centerville (russelville) area. its a 1000ft track (1/4 is 1320) if you go out there and run sub 11's (in the 1000ft) stock then you have a very quick car from the factory.

you can still get a better idea than basing it on a street race.
