I somewhat have the same feeling. Then the next day I'm jacking up the car because I don't feel like driving 8+ hrs to a performance shop. LOL

on the tutorial side, one of the biggest helps i have had with cars i am unfamiliar with is the AUTO ZONE web site. There are a lot of other part stores i would rather go to (support you local store!!!) but on thier site, it give a full detailed and descriptive "how-to" on most parts. check it out i found it very useful...

Our local libraries have the actual dealership service manuals for every vehicle that's made and they can be checked out for 3 weeks for free. You may want to check your local library if you want to save a few bucks by not buying your own manual.

Not true!!! I had the dealer mount and balance a new set of tires for my Z28. They rode smooth out of the dealership and still ride smooth 20,000 miles later. Probably cost me $40 more, but the job was done right.

I got sick of taking my car to the local hilljack redneck tire shops in town. They can't balance a low profile tire to save their life. I knew the Chevy dealership would do it right because they work on Corvettes all day long.

Alexander Chevrolet in Murfreesboro FTW!!!(still not taking it there if something breaks though)
