Driving an LS1 = Having sex with a hot girl, only better! (It has resale value!!!)

Driving an LT1 = Wanking it and dreaming about having sex

When I had my 95 TA I dreamed of an LS1...now that I have an LS1 it is awesome

Seriously though, the LS1 has 95% of the low end punch as the LT1 but on the upper end it keeps pulling and pulling all the way until redline.

It is like comparing a boxer with a strong right cross and slow weak jabs to a boxer with fast strong jabs AND a mean right cross.

Think of the Tortois and the Hare if the Hare also had endurance...

OK. the LS1 just owns. Period.

In this area the LS1 will crush the LT1 and the numbers show in HP and Et's. Honestly I can’t make the LT M6 comparison to the LS1 M6 comparison but if both cars were completely stock I would say the LT1 is a little more fun to drive due to its low RPM torque. If you want better Et's and a faster car the LS1 is hard to beat.
Took the post right outta my hands....

Ive owned 2 f-bodys. A 97 Formula M6 and 01 Formula M6....Everyday, daily driving, the 97 "felt" stronger, because its low end is much better. But, the 01 pulls so much harder after 3k rpms than the 97 did.

The major difference between the 2 IMO is the SOTP feeling you get taking the car to redline. The LT1 seems to level out at 5k rpms, the LS1 pulls harder the higher you take it.

Ls1 is a nasty engine. I love the power and you can beat almost anything you see on the street. Go for it deff.

I had a 99 cobra with all the bolt on's and 4.10 gears, chip, catted X pipe, catback and the 98 Z28 that I have now which is bone stock and auto and it feels just about the same power wise. I must admit the 32v sounds like a damn F1 car screaming at 7k rpm red line limit Bassani exhaust rules on the Fords!

The LS1 has to me feels like it could use some more juice from idle to about 2700 rpm, then it pulls and keep on going like the energizer bunny!

The cobra has no ***** from idle to about 4k rpm stock
then the 4.10s helped big time under 4k rpm.

My friends 02 Z06 felt great from any rpm range idle to redline it never felt like it was in need of more power.

I've driven several LS1/T56 cars and the feeling is incredable. I really wish I had one. However the LT1 isn't a bad choice. I wish I had an LS1 (not gonna lie) but in ways it's cool having an LT1 in as nice of shape as mine is. LS1 F-bodies are so cool because they are like driving rude, unrefined, beligerant Corvettes. Or any F-Body for that matter.

Just got on throttle hard (but not WOT yet) for the first time today on my '68 LS1/T56 swap. WOW! Beats the heck of my tired old smallblock or my weak '00 Stang GT daily driver. Need to put my x-brace back in before I really beat on it--don't need to wrinkle the rear quarters!

To be quite honest on my first drive I wasnt that impressed. I was used to turbo cars. Down low its ok, nothin special. But now that I have Kooks LT's that things cookin up top! Cant beat the sound.

Seriously I've known a few LS1 owners who are addicted to the way the LS1 just pulls harder and harder the higher the tach needle climbs... Each gear feels as good as the first. Tee Hee
haha there really is something that makes you have to go sometimes, even if for no reason and you weren't planning on it.

I feel in love with the F-body LS1 when I drove my cousin's 99 SS. I have to keep my right foot under control all the time so I don't immediately mash the throttle through the floor board and start rowing the T-56. It is an orgasm, I've had to clean up before LOL!

I drive an A4 LT1 everyday, but i can tell that my A4 LS1 will hand it its *** any day of the week. The lt1 runs good and is funn to outrun my ricer buddies but its just not in the same category as the LS1

I have had 5 LT1 cars. I loved them but LS1 is on a different level stock for stock and mod for mod. I love the LS1 so much i had to have one of each. I have a 6-speed and a auto
