How many miles on your stock T56?

Mine started going at 23k miles. 3rd/4th Syncros/Shift-forks where going south, guess I liked power shifting a little bit to much, traded it in like that and they never know

Mine just went out a few months ago. The guy said the way i drove and the mods iv done was kinda hard on the tranny. Ocasonally i didnt use the clutch when shifting. I had them build it with viper internals, and couldnt be happier.

So I guess it's the synchros that go and typically cause these transmisions to fail? Any way of avoiding this, specific way or shifting, or just avoid beating the **** out of it all the time?
