I don't have Chevrons , I put in the Techron myself. J/c is the saturation of techron in the fuel the same from the pump as if I dumped the bottle in before fillin 'er up?

93 octane only. Normally Shell or BP. Same base just different additives. I sometimes use Chevron also.

Secondly, serious question here, if anyone knows please inform me; why is it that gas prices are always seemingly more expensive, yet the price of motor oil does not change? Don't they both come from the same crude oil from the earth? I must be missing something important to justify the price changes in the gasoline and diesel fuel, but no change in motor oil.

Ha, Ha! You're not supposed to be paying attention to things like that! They'll be comin' to get you now.

I stick to shell for the T/A. Cheapest/closest for the Bonneville.

I just thought of this, I know there is a lab that will do an oil analysis for anyone, can't think of the name right now (I'm sure Choco knows), but I was wondering if there is similar testing available for gas... I'd be interested.

you're thinking of Blackstone Labs. i don't know who does a gas analysis, but they are all so similar, who really cares? not worth a dollar IMO.
