long tubes and magnaflow is heaven at cruising too. Everyone just kinda stares at you, rolls up their window, and gives u a disgusting look as u cruise by them 
. I love every minute of it. no cats and not one cop has commented on my exhaust, in a bad way that is. most of them love it. WOT cannot be beat, it's just orgasmic how loud and just freakin awesome it sounds.

I am suprised he did anything to you. A magnaflow catback on an othewise stock exhaust system isn't that loud. I was pretty disappointed in mine, because I was expecting better. No cop ever gave me the time of day with that thing on.
I drove around without a muffler for the better part of 3 months before, and that will get some stares. I actually had a cop behind me at a series of uphill intersections in town, and everytime I gave it gas to climb the hill on the green, the exhaust would scream off of the walls of the buildings. He didn't pull me over, but it sure made me pretty damn nervous. That is what suprises me. I would have never expected to get pulled over for the magnaflow.

this still all BS cause we all know none of the Harley drivers get pulled or stared at for having loud exhaust and there isnt a Harley on the road quieter then my car

I love Western NY. The cops around here could care less about how loud my car is. They never hassle F-bodies, Mustangs, Vettes, ect. But I have heard that they do like to harrass kids with loud fart can equipped Imports 
Sucks that you got pulled over. My buddy has a 99 Formula with LT's, ORY and Magnaflow and I think his car is quiet until he goes WOT. Even then I wouldn't call it loud enough to warrent a ticket.

i got a set of slp headers and magnaflow cat(cut off)back exhaust system and 2 memphis 12in subs and i get pulled over in my "arrest me red" SS all the time i live in alabama most of the time theyre like "sounds good what kinda exhaust u got under there" and a lot of people are posting that the magnaflow is quiet. mine is pretty loud the only time its really quiet is when the keys are in my pocket.

the cops are the same in my area. I guess they figure if you have a real engine in your car you should be allowed to have a mean sound to go with it... but the coffee can mufflers on a car that struggles under normal acceleration is just ridiculous

AFAIK, at least in Hamilton County, OH (where I'm from), there are different noise regulations for motorcycles than cars. Ever hear the saying "loud pipes save lives"?
My old Dart got driven around with a huge cam and open headers ALOT, my '88 has been on open cutout since I put the cam in, and I have yet to be bothered. Hell, my local cops are known for being dicks about exhausts too.
Guess it's just all in how you drive your car.
