my brother's car is 2000 a4 with 80k with headers,air intake,no cats, with 3:73s, and my buddy has 99 a4 with 41k stock manifolds with cats rest of exhaust is not on the car, with umi control arms, umi tunnel mounted trq arm, and 3:73s, running et streets radials, strange coilovers in the front, and a lid, and it weighs 200lbs less than the 2000. My buddy has beat my brother numerous times by 4-5 car lengths, and i am wondering, is there something wrong with my brother's car or, is the suspension in the 99 helping out that much. My buddy keeps telling my brother to get a a fuel filter, would that make any more of a difference as well.

Cant really driver mod an A4, all you do is smash the gas. Maybe your bud has a converter hes not owning up to or maybe he doesn't even know its there.

200 less pounds, basically open headers and the ET streets aren't making things any easier on ur bro either.

Your bro isn't racing in OD or manually shifting his auto is he?

No it doesn't have a converter, because he is mkaing this 99 a turbo car, and he took all the stuff to turn it to stock to sell everything stock. My brother i believe is running his car in od, and shifting it manually
