Turning warped rotors only makes it easier for them to warp again since there is less mass. Wheel bearings rarely go bad on our cars. If you think pads and rotors are expensive, price out the bearing hub.

how much is usually cut off though? The physics say yeah they'll warp easier but how relative, I don't know, just asking....I'd say turn them at minimum but new rotors are cool. That being said, what i wanted to say was that mine are warped to **** @39K miles. Those things suck

You can get cheap blank rotors at Autozone or Advance if you are that worried, I wouldn't bother with turning them. Like 30 bucks a rotor for cheap blank rotors. Of course if you want better rotors you'll have to dish some $$$

Warped front rotors are to an LS1 car what the optispark is to an LT1 car. Mine warped at 33,xxx. I turned them (they'd already been turned once) but now they are at minimum thickness. Vented rotors + better pads next time I need brakes.

at least i know i'm not the only one. If it gets any worse I'll prob. check out the autozone rotors. Like i said though, 70 and below braking is fine, just a bit lopey while stopping slowly from 10 and below.

Yes, it is definitely warped rotors. Mine were warped when I got the car with 19,000 miles on it!. I had them turned and they warped again before the next 10,000 was up. I even tried to do all the tricks to prevent that. Some good replacements will solve that problem. My Powerslots have went through 30,000 miles and 3 performance driving events with no problems.
