nah, id feel the tires slipping, besides, its from second gear with good traction, only time i get tire spin is in first, have some good rubber on there.

Its not cats, and its not tires (wiseguys).

Its atomized oil through your PCV system burning at high RPM's. The LS1 has a poor PCV design which was supposedly corrected on the LS6 and then found its way onto the 04' GTO LS1.

Under cruising conditions you wont smell anything, but as soon as you step on it the car stinks.

If you noticed that your car has minor or major oil consumption between changes, then theres your problem.
