hood.... if you do headers..... "man this thing is still a turd" compared to your grand national that is..... + there is nothing better than looking out your windshield and seeing some muscle on the hood

thanks BWW...I was kinda thinking the same thing...but not sure if I should say it. I know its got "plenty" of go from the factory, but there is a difference between "plenty" and "enough" also. I'm almost positive I will just keep modding it until it feels as quick as the GN, and I really don't want to do that....I need to quit buying cars and find a house instead, unless I like sleeping in the GTO.
I am trying to avoid causing any mechanical problems/strain like I did with my Grand National....I tore into the motor/tranny/rear end...and it took me 2 years to finally complete the car and get it back on the track. It seemed one thing led to the next, then it turned into ported aftermarket heads, roller cam, different rods, built tranny, $3000 in turbo and intercooler upgrades...got out of control real fast!

90% of everyone's gonna tell you headers here, if you want affirmation the other way go check out makemyls1shiney.com or another one of the lsx sites they're all the same.- but only one tech

hey Tom, ill tell ya what you need is those damn gears i was tellin ya about. 273s to 373s will make a ridiculously big difference in how hard it pulls and how peppy it feels. but on the other hand nothing puts a smile on your face like headers... but why get the Hookers when you can get Pacesetters for cheaper (coated as well). You get that discount through Jegs or whatever right? shoot Pacesetters would be dirt cheap then.

yeah, my price on headers is stupid cheap...I can get the race style Hookers with ceramic coating for $384 shipped and the ORY for 170....ok ok, time to rob a bank and do them both...or maybe just sell a kidney, hell I've got two
