Default Anyone have their sunvisors break yet?

Just wondering if anyone has ever had the mirror cover on the sunvisor break on them, seeing as the hinge is made out of cheap plastic? My dad's Jimmy has the same style plastic hinges, and both of the covers have broken off. I don't use the mirror in my Firebird so that they don't break.

128K on my 98 and mine are fine... maybe stop abusing your interior?

No problems with mine, although I don't use them often. Being 6'4", the roof usually provides all of the visor I need.

When I bought my car, they were in the trunk. I don't miss them much, looks "cleaner" without them IMO.

I have 120K on mine and haven't broken anything at all, interior wise yet. You must be abusing you interior a little too much.

I never abused my interior, but my passenger visor broke at the pivot point in a fender bender I had.

I had my drivers side break and I don't abuse anything on my car. It just slipped out of the hole and I got that silver lube(never cease whatever) all over my shorts.

I guess abusing was a poor wording choice. Over using I guess would better describe it. I never use mine because I have tinted windows and the sun doesn't bother unless it is that perfect time of the evening and I happen to be driving right into it. Hardly ever happens though.

I rarely used mine, and my driver side visor fell into my lap one day while driving. Scared the hell out of me at the time.

My girlfriend flipped the passenger side visor in my car back and forth for atleast 10 of the 20 hours we were in the car down and back to Florida...

2 weeks later it plopped off onto the passenger seat lol. Actually scared the hell out of me when it happened. Driver's side is still stiff though.
