I was going to say that looked like SJ....used to go there as a kid my uncle was there and now is at Eielson in AK. I have pics of me with all the F4s on ready during the cold war and I remember when they started replacing them with the F15s. The best was the SAC B52s.

Back in 2001 and 2002, SOM was an awesome color, because it was rare and pleasing to the eye. But ever since, every car that's come out seems to have a variation of it. It's played-out now, but it's still a nice color for both the subtle body lines of the camaro and the firebird formula.
I like the gloss black factory grille. I remember MTI's ZR28 camaro had a gloss black factory grille with the silver camaro inserts.

SOM will still remain a good color but it is just normal for one car compnay to put out a different color than the rest and have the others follow suit. The only difference is the fact that the color does not look that good on 4 door sedans. I get told the color matchers the car perfect. I think it looks good on the long body of the camaro
