I had alot of people tell me that my ride is a SS instead of a Z28, even with my car parked next to a SS - go figure???

Even worse I was at the track two weeks ago and basically every other car owner that ran their car that night asked me does it have a LS1? And that's after I told them that the car is indeed a Camaro, and is indeed a Z28 not a SS, nor a standard camaro with a V6.

So just curious, do Z28 and SS owners get mad if people call their cars Camaros? Same with WS6 owners?

Nah, I don't get mad if someone calls my ride a camaro - that's what it is in general weither its a standard V6, Z28, or SS.

I don't mind if people call my Z/28 a Camaro
or call me Trans Am a Firebird

those are perfectly fine answers. Its just i don't know how some people fabricate the names they use.

My sister told me her neighbor had a black Trans-Am, so when I went over there to check it out... it was a Sebring Vert

What I always get are these 2 questions:
1. Do you still have the Trans Am?
2. Does that have a 350?

LOL! Just a few days ago an older guy complimented my Z28 how nice looking it was then he continued w/ couple of questions... He looked at my Z28 badge and asked me if its a Z28 car then asked me if it has a V8. Needless to say, I said Yes to both.

I always get asked "That thing got a 350 in it?" I've gotten to the point where i'm just like "yup."

The classic " is that thing a 5-speed?" I'm like "No, it's a 6-speed." Then they look at me in awe...it's like wtf?

I've been asked a few times if it has an LT1 in it, and been called a z/28 before as well.

After I had it for 5 months, my 19 year old daughter called it a Corvette.

A coworker's wife saw me pull in the parking lot at work. Her view was blocked by other cars, so she asked what I was driving. I said "A Firebird." When I was leaving, she asked to take a closer look. I said "sure." When she got closer, she said "Oh, a Trans Am!"

I love when you ask ppl what they drive "oh a Toyota"

"what kind?"

"I dunno...its a toyota..I just drive it"

I'd love to see when they need to order a part

"Hi auto zone"

"I need a betl for a toyota"

"what yr and model?"

"How should I know its a toyota?"

"Um..corrola,tundra,prius?"

""A toyota?"

"Just bring the ******* Title in.."

Or down southh we have the lovley Baller lingo

"Yah man I need a cap and rotor for a 87 Bru-ick (buick)"

"Ok, what model?"

"Bru-ik?"

"No the model"

"87?"

LOL....

yeah I know people that have gone 10 Mi plus plenty of times without changing oil, and they never have problems! Of course we floor it one time and half of our parts come flying out from underneath. Oh well....
