I used some stuff by gunk I think and it didn't thicken the oil at all, trust me! But that makes sense, it causes it to coagulate to an extent then, I know that seafoam is by far the most popular stuff to use and I used some in my intake to get rid of some pre-detination issues I was having, worked like a charm too!
