You know not just the stereotypical "mullet man hillbilly" drives f-bods. I don't mean to start a deeper conversation here but when I see people looking at my car and wondering who drives it and then when they see me get in it I know there completely shocked. I am definitely the stereotype of an f-bod driver. I'm African and Mexican American, young, and don't have it riding on 20's. Like I said I didn't want to start up a flame war but giving my experience I had to say something.

I just watched that video and at 1:16 right before the bike burnouts the guy on the left jumps up and his pants fall to his ankles, lol. It shows it for like a split second.

i think rap, and fbodys go perfect together. the music videos promote the power, and shear ride or die qualities of an fbody.... i wanna roll up to the bay in my camaro, and see some fbodies rollin on twinkies, and people goin dumb outta the t tops... rap + fbodies = excitement

Ignoring the silliness of associating a particular music with an ethnic background, F-bodies are GREAT for rap and techno.

Why you may ask?

Because of the hatchback! Stick an 8" sub or even crank those 6x9's and they reverberate off of the hatch and THUMP!

Anyway, people should be happy that anyone in the mainstream admires their car. It's advertising, something GM should have been actively doing before our beloved cars died a premature death.

How come people think Mustangs are faster than F-bodies?
How come people think American cars "can't turn"?
How come people think Eclipse's are fast?
How come people think Euro-sports are fast and reliable?

All because of advertising and perception. If GM knew how to control it, I'd be rolling a 2006/2007 Trans Am, instead of wishing my 2000 wasn't getting old and looking at something German to drive next.

Ya the fbodies have a perfect hatch... in my 89 ta i have two jl-audio w7... and nothin sounds better then e40's "muscle car" track.. dunno if thas the name. but im always hp when i see the fbodies in a video... new or old.... plus people who dont know how much power these cars have they can easily associate the car with a car in a video i.e. "tell me when to go" and remeber how bad *** the fbodies are... maybe it will help get more back on the road.

I think people just need to get over themselves and stop associating 64 impalas to rap, and fbody's to mullet sporting hilljacks. Drive what you love, listen to what you like.

I like rap the best, then just about a blend of EVERYTHING, and that DEFINITELY includes techno

Best line in this whole thread, I listen to a wide range of stuff, whatever pumps you up for drivin', I'm not into this "well, if you listen to this you're that type of person", do what you want.
