Isn't there a rap song that goes "inside's peanut butter, outside's jelly, seven different days of the week, seven different shellys, black SS with the top (something) off, yada yada" or something like that? Is he talking about Camaro SS's? Please excuse my complete lack of information on rap...I listen to Hair Metal!

I don't like bay area rap. I like southern rap for example Atlanta and Miami.. Almost all of them talk about Chevys, 350's, SS's one even talks about T-Tops on his Z..

I like all types of music, but it's funny I have a friend who's really into rap. He has a 2003 Cobra and gets upset that they all talk about Chevys.. never Ford's

Since i've been in socal for this school year i have realized that........people dont like what they dont understand. Most people dont know what the hell bay area rappers are saying because they arent from the area.

There is only about 1% of bay area rap on the radio. So sidewayz is probably right

I listen primarily to rock but I love listening to bay area rap too. You guys are right about the hatch being perfect for subs, my 12s knock when the right song comes on.

Seems like a lot of bay area music revolves heavily around muscle cars. Kind of why I like going through Oakland. You'll see a late 70s Malibu get more respect than a new Escalade.

Black ls1 featured prominentily in this vid.

There is another song, uses lyrics similar to Nickatina's Cadillac Girl that has two rappers, one driving a Chevy, the other driving a Ford, talking smack before they line up to race.

"I drive Chevys, **** Mercedes
Hopped out the new CL V12, got in the blue SS" - Manny Fresh

I listen to everything from Opeth, Chimaira, Children of Bodom, Soilwork, Trivium, Lamb of God, etc. to Tupac, Cube, Dre, Eminem, The Game(first CD), Jeezy, etc. Never associated 4th gens with rednecks/hillbillies(and I'm from NC)....just late 2nd gens and 3rd gens LOL. Listen to everything in my car.
