During storage like that you can put Baking soda and hedge apples like said to [B]prevent[B/] things like this from happening. However, since we are out numbered by ants and spiders and what not bugs that can get in it will happen...someday.

Seriously just get some Raid fumigator the kind that makes smoke not spray liquid. I made the mistake of parking the Monte under a tree with the tops off, needless to say it got full of all kinds of bugs. closed up the windows let that Biach off and then when it was done let it air out drove with the tops off windows down for a while it was fine. Get it done.

well what freaked me out was one came out of my vent while parked and landed on my hand (black and white one), one of the brown ones spun its little freaky web **** straight down from the sun visor while i was driving, right in front of my face, killed it. then brown spider #2 about 2 minutes later was on my steering wheel going around the wheel so dumbass me turns the wheel bc he was headed toward my leg and i had shorts on, i wasnt about to have a spider in the no-no section, so i smashed him, looked up and i was headed for the ditch. i know im a ***** when it comes to spiders.... damn i hate them

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention...

The first time I broke my transmission (happens when you drag race an M6), it was out of commission for a while. I pulled it out in my driveway - so my car was sitting without the trans or console in it... outside.

So, in Camaroholic classic tradition, it takes me a couple of months to get the trans fixed (did it myself, my first rebuild). I go back to my car, only to find bird crap on the dash. Apparently a bird flew up through the shifter boot area and made himself a home...

Funny thread. Im digging some of the ideas. Why do spiders hate hedge apples? In fact, what is a hedge apple?

Seriously though, when I was still a newbie at 17 I remember driving down a local road by my house and a spider was on my drivers side window crawling around. I got preoccupied with trying to find him and actually drove over the middle into the on coming lane and over the curb and into the grass. Luckily nobody was around and I just drove away.

That was the first and only time that lesson was needed.

I parked my old 3rd gen next to a garbage can one summer for a couple of days and had about a hundred ants come in through the door. They were climbing all around the dash, seats, and floor...what a pain in the ***...

Other hand my dad has twice found mice in his Corvette's engine bay, including a dead one underneath (now that's LS1 POWA!). Of course, if he ever drove the damn thing they'd probably not think it such a nice place to live.

I would sell it... or burn it. But I would never get in that car again

When I see spiders I turn into a 4 year old girl... scream and run
