Default Got a Question

A good friend of mine is looking to buy an 01 SS M6 from the original owner w/ 42,000 miles on it and it's a t-top. It's been taken care of extremely well and he just wants to know if he's getting a decent deal on the car. the guy is wanting 18,000 for it and do you think this is a good deal. The original owner also optioned the car out himself from the dealership so it's a custom ordered SS as well...
Thanks

Dont seem that bad, but its not a great price either IMO, but if he really wants the car I could see paying that, maybe try and get him down some...

Tell him to cut a check for 17000 and place it right in front of the guy. Ill bet you anything he will take. I think that is a pretty good price. Thats only 7k milage a year. Sounds like a nice car. If I were him I would do it. Tell us what he does and get us some pics.

Paid $14k for my loaded 2000 A4 with 52K and in minty condition.

I'd go about $16,500 on this one.

I got a car just like the one described. ~45k, in awsome shape and well maintained for 15k just 3 months ago. Most I'd go is 16.

Sounds like the car has been 'babied' since new. That is worth a lot!! If the car meets your friend's wants and needs, jump on it. Always try to get it for less but I wouldn't walk away.

I low-balled the dealership and they accepted it. You never know until you try. They wanted 18.5K and I offered them 14.8K. Without hesitating, they said "Sold". BTW, my car is an '02 SS M6. She had 43K when I bought her.
