My wife rocks when it comes to me driving, her ridingin the car, hell even my modding. I've actually been pulled over for grab assing in the car. As I notice the lights in the rearview, I say "**** I'm getting pulled over." Her response... "Why?" Sometimes she does get pissed when I tell her stories and she missed the action. She's also curious as to what it feels like to dead hook a high RPM clutch drop on stickies.

 

Ive seen both ends of the spectrum myself.When i first got this car,the girl at the time got really pissed and bitched about why "I had to buy the expensive tires?"I got rid of her ,once she started hating everything about my car or anything not directly focused on her.What a bitch she was........

 

Thats a whole new awesome thread idea,unless its been done before.All the willing post their girls posing with their cars.

 

Mine does not care, but then again, the FAST car does not have a passenger seat! LOL

 

well wife dont like it, I'm talking about racing period. so I don't, not that I did just gave it some gas to reach like 0 to 40mph. when it was stock she didn't mind it once in a while (0 to 40) and my daughters in the back seat 5yr & 7yr old. they always tell me faster daddy!! so I just gun it a little. I dont/wont race with them in the car. got to the point when we would go for a sunday cruise she would want to drive my WS6. well, no that it has H/C, TD's dumped with a wicked lope. she drove it once from the house to the gas station and she will not drive it. her reason "to much power". my daughters love it even more. they argue about who's going to get the car when they're old enough!! lol! so to your poll. I would believe I fall somewhere in between . they still go with me to car shows and gtg's but wife wont drive and I wont race only if I'm by myself....

 

Heck, my wife is the one that talked me into buying the car. Not that I mind!

If we go for a ride, and I don't get on it at least a few times, she feels gypped. Besides, it makes her horny...........

 

Well my GF doesn't care about me racing and street racing, she is always asking me to spray it with her in ther car once but i always tell her "no bc its to dangerous". Shes like so overall i guess shes a pretty cool gf and VERY hott BTW

 

My wife doesn't mind me driving fast from time to time. I did 140+ one time and told her about it later and she gave me a lil lecture about how she wants me to be safe, but she's pretty cool. Actually, she bought me my z28 because she wanted my Cavalier that I had before.

 

I don't mind at all. That's pretty much how we met.

 

my soon to be cant stand it when i even go a little past 1/4 throttle and she openly says she hates my car... yet she drives like a bat out of hell in her little celica

 

My wife was under the car with me when i installed my lt and catback/y-pipe.Then i had to buy her her own 95 Z28.

 

My wife doens't like it... But my girlfriend loves it!! ...

My Girlfriend loves it when I get on it but she always asks that I tell her when I am about to lay the hammer down . We have been out cruising and if we get a ricer fly by she is the one telling me to show em what a real cars all about . But I dont do any high speed races with her in the car because I wouldnt want something to happen to her!

ha my girl LOVES it. On our first "date" or first time we hung out she said "SO is this thing really that fast"...I just smiled and told her to put her seatbelt on. She is now a girl of Vengeance and our relationship is pretty much centered around cars... She used to race fourwheelers and now drives her dads 71 4speed 454 vette all the time so i would say she is a keeper for a gearhead like myself...plus she is f'n hott!

 

Me and my boyfriend met racing down university blvd. I love racing my car and I wish it was faster (runs 12s), so i love riding in his when he gets sideways in 2nd and pulls third so fricken hard, we are at 140 befrore you know it, and i absolutely love it! I am getting excited just thinking about it! I really miss racing dragsters, which is the ultimate speed rush for me, but when i graduate, i will own my own! I feel bad for you guys who's girlfriends dont understand and get mad, i wouldnt be able to deal with that. I love my car so much and it is such a huge part of my life, that that would never work out for me. It would suck, because I found it hard enought to find a guy who was into cars like I am, but there are truly hardly any girls out there, I dont know what I would do.......

On another note, if I was dating a guy in the past who wasnt into cars (which would never last but one date) I think it would be hilarious to watch their faces as they feared for their lives, when I would just get up to a quick 80 or 90 (which isnt that extreme), it was priceless. they would say "you need to be careful" and i would just laugh at them....ha

im like a lot of you guys . I dont race with anyone in the car. Ill do a 40 punch with my girl in the car but never get past 2nd gear. I wont take the risk of getting someone hurt for my stupidity. I wouldnt be able to forgive myself.
