Like your title says, its getting hot!!! Outside. Check your coolant levels, maybe a flush is in need.

Be more specific. What is hot? Your temp gauge is going to hang out at 210 all day, especially with the outside temps starting to climb.

when I switched to full sythetic castrol I actually noticed a diff in it bein a little cooler.
If I had had castrol in it originally then switched to my old **** I would have seen it get hotter so maybe that your prob
good luck

This thread should be in the noob section. Engines create heat. Now its getting hot outside. Your fans are going to be on for what seems like constantly, especially since you probably have your AC on. The temp gauge is going to rise to about the 210 mark and just sit there, thats what they do. The car is fine.

But if you havent done it, flush your cooling system anyway. That way you also know where the car stands. Its preventative maintenance, needs to be done from time to time.
