Well I believe the car can be near as valuable if you dont do anything that cant be reversed. Im big into that. No cutting crap is the main thing. Most mods can be reversed. All my old parts are in the basement.

Sweet car. I wouldn't do any major moding. But I would for sure drive it and enjoy it...that is what they are made for.

id only do a few basic things. lid, filter, short throw, very easily reversable stuff. i wouldnt even do headers, just a basic cat-back. save for a year and buy another cheaper LS1 to play with.

also, thats not a chalk mark on the K member, its like a big paint marker. i have 21K on my 02 WS6, not daily driven......and i still have the marking too.

I am a guy who says cars are to drive. I don't want a car to clean, garage, and worship....that said that is really a car worth keeping off the road. I say sell it (hopefully for a profit) and buy a less-nice car to mod and enjoy!

There are plenty of people w the patients and $ to keep "piece of history" cars. It doesn't have to be you.

i agree, i would sell it, being that you keep staying away from the subject of how much u paid for it, im assuming u paid a **** ton for it, IMHO i couldnt see spending that kind of money and letting it sit around and not enjoying it, just doesnt make since to me, let some richass car collector do that, or do what was mentioned above by keeping all the stock stuff, mod it, then if u decide to sell in the future put the original motor and everything back in, the body might get some miles on it, but its just like the Barrett Jackson auctions, the cars with the original stuff and matching numbers gets the most money.

its a car, thats all it is, and it has a ball busting v8, go have fun with it, dont let urself get old regreting the good times you could of had.......i think its terrible that people buy cars to look at them sitting in their garages. i bought my 01 ss with 15k miles on it. i could have left it sit in the garage and collect dust, but i didnt buy the car to look at it, i bought the car cuz i wanted to have fun driving it. Hell, when the motor craps out at 150k miles, ill buy a crate ls7 and throw it in, and ill have 0 miles on it. Remember, its a car, its meant to be driven!
