Luckiest man on LS1tech?!?!?!?

I Feel Ya
I know exactly what you are going through. I guess I feel like the second luckiest guy on LS1tech. I just bought a 2002 NHRA Trans Am Convertable and it had 29k miles. Must have spent it's life under a cover somewhere. Car is beautiful and is super rare. Of the eight hundred and some made there were only 46 convertable A4's of which this is one. I will drive it and enjoy it. But I will not modify it. Who needs to anyhow....the LS1 in it drives it to warp speed already. And the Monsoon 500watt will give you hearing damage. I do have a driver that I plan on using for winter and such. I also feel very lucky to have found it. Enjoy your car as I know I will mine!

that car is gorgeous, and under what....4 thousand miles on it. when i seen that i about shat myself. that's really amazing. i would have been like you...buying it just because of the flawlessness in it. i would hate driving it too much just because you would have to watch the odometer constantly and would hate every mile you put on it. beatiful car man. with everything i can muster up inside of myself, i give you a very big congradulations.

Anyway, I would disagree with all of the opinions to put it away and never drive it.
These cars were meant to be enjoyed and driven hard.
I couldn't blame you for wanting to keep it perfect though.

Not to ruffle any feathers or anything, but if your going to post saying you are the luckiest man on LS1tech for finding a good deal on a beautiful untouched car, you should let the us other ls1 guys know what you paid for it. Why not, we are not talking about 100's of thousands here. Got to be in the 25-30 range. There is a collector edition with 3,200 miles for 28,995 on Ebay right now. But really, a nice find and mod however you want. You are the one that dropped the dough for it.
Good luck

Y'all are making me feel like ****. I bought the same car brand new, and it is now H/C with full exhaust and 4.10s, plus a lot of other misc crap. At least I saved ALL of my stock parts, lol.
I wasn't going to mod it at first, but why would I keep a car locked up for 20 years just to sell it?

nice car!!!!!!!!!!! if you ever decide to sell it, give me a chance. i would mod it enough to open it up and let it breath maybe just a couple of bolt ons and thats it. i would let that be my nice weather riding car. so how much did you pay?
