I dont see any Motive 4.10s for a 2 series carrier that you have. I like the Motives and have had good luck with them.
I did however find some Richmonds for your application that will work. It says not for use with 99+ F-bods, but dis-regard that information. You will just need to grind down some clearance on the block that slides in the carrier. It's not a big deal, I did it to mine with ease.
Here's what I found:http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Nope 2.73s are series 2s. Check into a set of thick gears. Don't let anyone talk you into a spacer. Mine came from Jegs and if you bought the gears and install kit together you got a discount.

Thunder sells Strange gears with a "thick" (for 2-series carriers) option. No aditional price. I used them in my old A4, when i went 3.42's.
4.10's are a bit steep for an auto BTW. Cruising will be OUT OF THE QUESTION w/ those.
3.73 would be the upper end for a stock auto that will be daily driven, and 4.10's are more for 6 speeds.

Had it done by a friend as i've heard the shimming part is the hardest. You have to get it right or the gears will whine. Very easy to take apart and put in new gers though. Might want to just get someone to help with the end portion.
