$10k. But don't let debt bother you, guys. You can't live in America and not have some type of debt unless, well you know. Want a house? A car? Credit Cards? That's how it all works...

Car = paid. The only mods I haven't paid off on my CC are misc bits for the cam swap. Everything else is paid when I put the cash in my checking account. I went through debt via parts buying with one of my previous cars, and never again.

I owe $20K on the car, and about $13K in credit cards. Of that $13k, only about $3k is from my car. The rest is college expenses, previous car related maintence, a few bad GF break ups, and a love for strippers.

I figure, your not promised tomarrow, so enjoy life now. Im probably going to have to work till Im dead anyways to make a living.

I paid for the SS in cash 2 years ago and every mod after has never been paid for with credit so the SS is 100% mine.

I owe about 14K on my daily driver though and about $300 on one of my credit cards. I'm going to get my daily driver paid off ASAP, somehow I see a tour to the middle east in my future so I don't think that'll be a problem.

I owe nothing on my Z28. But I do owe a bit on my Monte SS though. Not a big deal, I could have paid cash for the car but it wouldn't have been worth it.

It's great to toss down $15-20k in cash to buy a car, but you have to remember that sums of money that size can work for you. Look at what sort of investment options are feasible for your situation, then see what sort of interest rate you can get on a loan. Sometimes, you'll find that it's in your best financial interest to take out the loan and invest the cash. This will be moreso the case as you get older and have a good enough credit score that low interest loans are easy to get.

I owe $5800 on my car.

I have paid cash for all my mods.

No mods for me unless I have cash to pay for it.

Other than the car, I'm 100% debt free.
