Default Is this a good deal?

Ok guys I am in the process of selling my LT1. Someone is bringing money to look at it tomorrow and I have a couple of others interested. Anyway, I am looking at getting this car...

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...TAFSRCHUSDTEXT

My buddy thinks I should hold out for something else because it's a 98 and doesn't have leather. The guy said he would let it go for $9400. Now I don't care about leather, probably would rather not have it since it is a pain to keep in great shape. I want ttops and an M6 LS1 and this one has all. The car being a 98 doesn't bother me either. I would like to eventually get full bolt-ons and maybe a cam later on down the road, but nothing too drastic. Is there any reason to not buy a 98 car? This is one I can afford and it has relatively low miles. My Dad just bought a 98 SS that is silver so we would have two silver 98 LS1's. That might be weird though but oh well. What do you all think?

Finally, I have an offer for $6000 cash for my 95 Z28 with almost 74k on it. Should I take that? It does have a few imperfections, spider webbing back bumper, needs tires, some chips here and there also. I need some opinions quick because a guy is coming to look at it tomorrow. Thanks

Definitely YES on the $6,000 cash. I would like to see you get the '98 for under $9,000. I'm sure the seller would take in the $8500-$8900 area if you paid cash as well. Good luck!

Thanks for the input guys.

Anyone near Cleveland, Ohio that would be willing to take a look at the car for me? I would even send you a little something . Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Just sold my LT1 for $6500 with Z06 wheels on it. I wanted $6000 for the stock rims but I think I got a good deal. Now it's LS1 time!
