Default Buying a ls1...Have question about payment/shipping

Ok, I am in Arkansas and the vehicle is located in California...What will be the safest way to send payment and do this transaction. ...Also, any suggestions for shipping companies

hop on a grey hound or rent a car and drive that bad girl home, I also had mine shiped from california cost me like 800 hundred bucks, but that was through car max from cali to florida

Safest way would be to send a cashiers check or do a direct bank to bank wire transfer. I agree with the above advice of driving the car home. Last car I bought was a Subie SVX and I bought it in NH, I live in CA drove it home in 3 days, 3300 miles

ok, i have to have it shipped, cant drive it home....so the safest way is cashiers check or bank to bank transfer....? Anymore suggestions, anybody do this before....

To the ones who posted and have shipped how did u pay??

I've done both, but in both case I called their bank and the seller in a 3 way conference call and had the seller authorize the bank to tell me that they are actually well established customers at the bank. Hope that makes sense, any way the point is don't just wire or send someone you know nothing about. If they are a business get references, do some investigation first.
